DELHI GOVT LAUNCHED CORONA APP


Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister has launched an app on Tuesday ''Delhi Corona App'' for the convenience of COVID-19 affected people.

launch of "Corona App"  is meant to help people to find out about the status of total hospital beds and ventilators available in the capital, health minister Satyendra Jain has said that  were window shopping for hospitals,  asymptomatic patients were occupying the  beds for patients with a more severe condition.

The minister said that the laboratories were not only testing asymptomatic patients, but also delaying the results.
An inquiry has been setup up against such labs ( eight labs), seven of them are private and one run by the government.



Window shopping for beds has been started from the day app was launched . On the day of app launch that is on Tuesday, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said  though the number of cases are rising, "We should  not panic. We have sufficient arrangements".

Mr Jain said that the government was getting  number of calls for the demand of beds.Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia have ordered  20 per cent beds in Delhi ‘s 61 hospitals will be reserved for coronavirus patient.

five government hospitals and three private hospitals have been turned into  coronavirus centers, recently three more private hospitals has been ordered to convert into coronoa virus centers.
