Land Rover Defender deliveries retarded in some market Due to the Covid-19 pandemic




JLR’s Nitra plant in Slovakia where Defender is built is shut down for around eight weeks due to the pandemic.


Deliveries have been delayed all over the world, escorted by models only now reaching customers 


Land Rover Defender prices in India were revealed on February 26; deliveries for August 2020 seem to be on track. 


As all the production are harmed with this pandemic ,the production at Jaguar Land Rover’s facility in Nitra, Slovakia has also been shut down for eight weeks until end of May 2020. The report also saying that customers have are facing a long wait for the Land Rover Defender. 


JLR’s plant in Slovakia  has produced the Defender for a number of markets which are  US, Europe, Middle East and India. The company announces its price in early 2020. But as the pandemic hit globally, the production halted at the end of March.Sources is saying that only UScustomers models whom they booked then. JLR officials  is expecting to give  each of the 188 US dealers to receive at least one Defender by July 2020.



Land Rover Defender India deliveries on track,Jaguar-Land Rover India had earlier communicated that deliveries for the Defender will get down to business in August 2020 and these appear to be on track now. 

The Prices for the Defender which are available in three(90) and five door (110)form, which is available in three-door (90) and five-door (110) form.It has built with a 300hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that has been revealed at the end of February 2020
