Finally Hyundai has revealed the details of new Santa Fe SUV, Santa Fe now comes with bold style, hybrid powertrain options.
The Car’s dynamic performance have been improved by relocating the steering arms, company claims, further changes like Reinforced sound and vibration absorption material throughout the chassis to improve the car’s over all performance.
It will be available with hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, technical information is yet to be revealed by Hyundai , the SUV will offer 265hp PHEV powertrain. A hybridised petrol motor and diesel will also be available soon.
The car is s 7-seater suv, which uses Hyundai’s ‘third-generation’ architecture. The new platform will offer “improved performance, safety and efficiency “.The car features new ventilation system that improves air movement for engine. Heavy components are located lower in the chassis for a better centre of gravity.
The front grille has been enlarged to the entire width of the car, it now features a new 3D mesh pattern and T-shaped daytime running lights(DRL), vents are now vertically fitted.
At the back of Santa Fe , it has new reflector bar that stretches between redesigned brake light clusters and a new lower bumper.The external redesign is finished off with wider wheel arches and new alloy wheels
The dashboard and centre console has been changed completely, car now offers a 10.25-inch infotainment system unit.A new Luxury variant has been revealed which offers 20-inch alloy wheels with a colour-matching bumper and wheel arch trim.
No official announcement has been made regarding any plans to launch the car in India.
