Amazon Inc's India unit said it would hire 50,000 temporary workers to full fill the demand of the customers, customers are stucked indoors for two about months now in a lockdown due to COVID-19.
E-commerce firms has faced massive amount of loss in the initial days of the lockdown in India,but now slowely getting back.
Amazon senior executive Akhil Saxena Said “We want to help our customers all over India, provide everything they need so they can continue to practice social distancing”. Amazon has shifted its annual global Prime Day event, a summer affair, to September.
